How does budget-first planning work?

You start by setting your total trip budget. We then allocate it intelligently across hotels and activities, showing you only options that fit. You can adjust the allocation, but you'll never be tempted by options outside your budget.

Are the prices shown final?

Yes! Every price you see includes all taxes and fees. The price on the hotel card is the price you'll pay—no surprises at checkout.

How do you make money?

We earn a small commission from hotels and activity providers when you book through us. This doesn't affect your price—it's the same as booking direct, often with better cancellation policies.

Can I cancel my booking?

Most bookings include free cancellation up to a certain date. The specific cancellation policy is shown before you book and included in your confirmation email.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is required to search and book. However, creating an account lets you save trips, view booking history, and manage reservations more easily.

Which destinations do you support?

We support 350+ US cities from coast to coast. Search for any US city and we'll show you available hotels and activities. Popular destinations include Miami, Las Vegas, New York, Seattle, and many more.

How accurate are the availability and prices?

Prices and availability are pulled in real-time from our hotel and activity partners. What you see is what's actually available right now.

Can I book activities through StaysInBudget?

Activities are currently booked through our partner Viator. When you click 'Book' on an activity, you'll be taken to Viator's site to complete the reservation.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) through our secure payment system powered by Stripe.

How do I get my booking confirmation?

Immediately after booking, you'll see a confirmation page with your booking details. A confirmation email is also sent to the email address you provided.

What if I need to change my reservation?

Changes depend on the hotel's policy. Log into your account to view your booking and see available options, or contact us at support@staysinbudget.com.

Is my payment information secure?

Absolutely. We use 256-bit SSL encryption and process payments through Stripe, one of the world's most trusted payment processors. We never store your full card details.
